Theme:
The highlight of the workcamp will be the “Candle Light Festival” on the last weekend. Here we need your help in preparing and hosting the feast. It is possible that your help will be needed to prepare and run another festival close to the castle.
Probably another festival is a “Ackerman Music Festival” on the field few kilometers away from castle.
Volunteer work:
You will be care for the park behind the castle. We have been trying for several years to change the park back into an old English park as it was in the last centuries until it was destroyed.
Volunteers will work in the garden, until they will help in preparations of festivals.
There are also possibility to play with kids who has a summer vacation and live in castle. But it is not obligation.
Accommodation:
The volunteers will be accommodated in a little building next to the castle. Very cozy place with a big studio for parties, big green area with hammocks in front of house, table tennis.
Bring with you:
We would really appreciate, if you play an instrument, if you could it bring with you.
Everything that would be useful for Candle Light Festival, if you have artistic skills or have special abilities it is big plus.
Location:
The nearest town Wittenburg is about 4 km away and the closest big town is Schwerin about 25 km away. Remember this is remote area.
